This bill increases authorized positions for the Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection by two full-time positions for regional farmer support and increases a department appropriation account in both fiscal years of the 2023-25 fiscal biennium for the positions.

SB711,,66(1) Regional farmer support. In the schedule under s. 20.005 (3) for the appropriation to the department of agriculture, trade and consumer protection under s. 20.115 (3) (a), the dollar amount for fiscal year 2023-24 is increased by $352,600 and the dollar amount for fiscal year 2024-25 is increased by $352,600 to increase the authorized FTE positions for the department by 2.0 GPR positions for regional farmer support.
