Announcements, Adjournment Honors, and Remarks Under Special Privilege
Senator Spreitzer, with unanimous consent, asked that the Senate adjourn in honor of the Brodhead Cardinals Softball Team. 19 years ago, Coach Steve Krupke led them to their first state championship, and on June 10th of 2023, Brodhead went to extra innings to win in a pitcher's duel 1-0 thriller against Mayville. The Cards didn’t allow a single run to their opponents through six postseason games. In all six games, Brodhead outscored their opponent 37-0. Congratulations to the Brodhead Cards on their 2023 D3 WIAA Softball championship victory to bring the golden trophy home.
