Representative Callahan introduced Hometown Hero Award Recipient Wausau Police Officer Josiah Kaetterhenry, who saved the lives of two teenagers within the course of three months by stopping their active suicide attempts. Officer Kaetterhenry addressed the members from the rostrum.
Representatives Summerfield and Hurd introduced Hometown Hero Award Recipients, Eau Claire Police Officer Sam Sperry and Officer Tre Johnson, in recognition of risking their lives in protecting their community from a dangerous situation in the City of Eau Claire on September 4th, 2022. Officer Sperry and Officer Johnson addressed the members from the rostrum.
Representative Allen introduced Hometown Hero Award Recipient Milwaukee Police Officer Herbert Davis III, in recognition of his fortitude, exceptional courage, and calm professionalism in the face of danger in the line of duty. Officer Davis addressed the members from the rostrum.
