1 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:
21. Page 4, line 1: before that line insert:
3 Section 1c. 36.05 (6r) of the statutes is created to read:
4 36.05 (6r) 1. Subject to subd. 2., “disadvantaged," with respect to a student,
5means having experienced any unfavorable economic, familial, geographic, physical,
6or other personal hardship.
7 2. The term “disadvantaged” may be further defined by the board by rule but
8in doing so the board may not permit, either directly or indirectly, the consideration
9of a student's race, ethnicity, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, or religion,
10or the consideration of a student's identity as a member of a group without regard
