ASSEMBLY AMENDMENT 2, TO ASSEMBLY BILL 553

AB553-AA2,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:

AB553-AA2,1,2 1. Page 1, line 5: delete “Wisconsin grant funding allocation,".

AB553-AA2,1,4 2. Page 4, line 1: delete the material beginning with that line and ending with page 5, line 6.

AB553-AA2,1,6 3. Page 16, line 14: delete the material beginning with that line and ending with page 17, line 9, and substitute:

AB553-AA2,1,11 “(3) Penalty. If an institution violates this section more than once in a 5-year period, the board shall freeze tuition charged by the institution, for all students, for the 2 academic years immediately following the finding of the violation giving rise to this penalty. The board shall ensure that the institution's allocation of funding under s. 36.09 (1) (h) is reduced commensurate with the tuition freeze.”.

AB553-AA2,1,13 4. Page 26, line 10: delete the material beginning with that line and ending with page 27, line 2, and substitute:

AB553-AA2,2,4 “(3) Penalty. If a district board violates this section more than once in a 5-year period, the district board shall freeze tuition charged for all students for the 2 academic years immediately following the finding of the violation giving rise to this penalty.”.
