* Section 991.11, Wisconsin Statutes: Effective date of acts. “Every act and every portion of an act enacted by the legislature over the governor's partial veto which does not expressly prescribe the time when it takes effect shall take effect on the day after its date of publication.”

2023 WISCONSIN ACT 269

An Act to create 84.10477 of the statutes; relating to: designating and marking the Deputy Kaitie Leising Memorial Highway.

The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do enact as follows:

269,1 Section 1. 84.10477 of the statutes is created to read:

84.10477 Deputy Kaitie Leising Memorial Highway. The department shall designate and mark STH 128 from STH 64 to I 94 as the “Deputy Kaitie Leising Memorial Highway” in honor and recognition of St. Croix County Sheriff’s Deputy Kaitie Leising.
