* Section 991.11, Wisconsin Statutes: Effective date of acts. “Every act and every portion of an act enacted by the legislature over the governor's partial veto which does not expressly prescribe the time when it takes effect shall take effect on the day after its date of publication.”

2023 WISCONSIN ACT 248

An Act to create 20.255 (3) (eh) and 115.28 (66) of the statutes; relating to: funding for the Nathan and Esther Pelz Holocaust Education Resource Center and making an appropriation.

The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do enact as follows:

248,1 Section 1. 20.005 (3) (schedule) of the statutes: at the appropriate place, insert the following amounts for the purposes indicated:

248,2 Section 2. 20.255 (3) (eh) of the statutes is created to read:

20.255 (3) (eh) Holocaust education resource center. The amounts in the schedule for payments to the Milwaukee Jewish Federation, Inc., under s. 115.28 (66).

248,3 Section 3. 115.28 (66) of the statutes is created to read:

115.28 (66) Holocaust education resource center. Annually distribute the amounts appropriated under s. 20.255 (3) (eh) to the Milwaukee Jewish Federation, Inc., to support the Nathan and Esther Pelz Holocaust Education Resource Center.
