2021 WISCONSIN ACT
An Act to create 252.02 (5m) and 252.03 (2m) of the statutes; relating to: prohibiting certain government officials from mandating vaccination against the 2019 novel coronavirus.
The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do enact as follows:
AB23,1 Section 1 . 252.02 (5m) of the statutes is created to read:
252.02 (5m) Notwithstanding sub. (6) and s. 252.041, the department may not require individuals to receive a vaccine against the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus, which causes COVID-19, or any variant or virus derived as a mutation of the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus.
AB23,2 Section 2 . 252.03 (2m) of the statutes is created to read:
252.03 (2m) Notwithstanding sub. (2), a local health officer may not require individuals to receive a vaccine against the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus, which causes COVID-19, or any variant or virus derived as a mutation of the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus.
