SJR109,1,1 Relating to: celebrating the 155th anniversary of the Leinenkugel's brewery.

SJR109,1,3 Whereas, May 2022 marks the 155th anniversary of the Leinenkugel's brewery in Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin; and

SJR109,1,6 Whereas, in May 1867, 22 years after immigrating to Wisconsin from Germany, Jacob Leinenkugel started his brewery in Chippewa Falls, finding its pure water and rich soil perfect for growing grains and brewing beer; and

SJR109,1,9 Whereas, the Jacob Leinenkugel Brewing Company has been a family-run business for the past 155 years, with its legacy being carried on by the sixth generation of Leinenkugels; and

SJR109,1,11 Whereas, Leinenkugel's combines German brewing traditions with Wisconsin innovation to create hand-crafted beers that have earned national praise; and

SJR109,1,13 Whereas, Leinenkugel's is the pride of Chippewa Falls and an icon of the state of Wisconsin; now, therefore, be it

SJR109,2,3 Resolved by the senate, the assembly concurring, That the Wisconsin Legislature celebrates 155 years of the great brewing tradition of the Jacob Leinenkugel Brewing Company of Chippewa Falls.
