1An Act to create 20.935 of the statutes;
relating to: online dashboards
2reporting on the performance of certain state agencies with respect to core

This bill requires each department in the executive branch of state government
to, no later than July 1, 2022, develop and maintain a publicly available dashboard
on its Internet site, or on an Internet site maintained by the Department of
Administration, that reports on the department's performance of its core functions.
Under the bill, the dashboards must be updated on a quarterly basis, and, to the
extent practicable, each department must engage stakeholders in discussions about
the department's performance. The performance metrics each department uses for
its dashboard must include the performance metrics the department used for its
dashboard as of July 1, 2018, under 2016 Executive Order No. 189, which included
requirements similar to the bill.

The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do

120.935 Department dashboards. (1) Each department created under
2subch. II of ch. 15 shall do all of the following:

(a) No later than July 1, 2022, develop and maintain a publicly available

5of administration, that reports on the department's performance of its core functions.

(b) Update its dashboard under par. (a) on a quarterly basis for the purpose of
7attaining continuous performance improvement and to share performance outcomes
8with the department's staff.
