1An Act to amend 20.115 (3) (h) and 93.06 (1qm) of the statutes;
relating to:
2grants for dairy exports promotion and making an appropriation.

Under current law, the Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer
Protection is authorized to use certain funds to make loans for the development of
rural businesses or rural economic development. This bill allows DATCP to also use
those funds to provide grants for the purpose of promoting dairy exports.

The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do
enact as follows:

5promotion. All moneys received as origination fees, repayment of principal, and
6payment of interest on loans under s. 93.06 (1qm), to be used for loans for the
7development of rural business enterprises or rural economic development
and grants
8for the purpose of promoting dairy exports under s. 93.06 (1qm).
