1An Act relating to: a substance use disorder treatment platform.
Analysis by the Legislative Reference Bureau
This bill requires the Department of Health Services to request supplemental
funding from the Joint Committee on Finance, and if received, to contract in fiscal
year 2022-23 for a substance use disorder treatment platform that allows for the
comparison of the quality of substance use disorder treatment programs. The DHS
appropriations may be supplemented after JCF approves a request by DHS for the
funding, and JCF is not required to find an emergency to make the supplement. The
bill limits the expenditure by DHS to $300,000.
For further information see the state fiscal estimate, which will be printed as
an appendix to this bill.
