AJR62,1,1 Relating to: congratulating Fight Crime: Invest in Kids on their 25th anniversary.

AJR62,1,6 Whereas, Fight Crime: Invest in Kids, a national, nonprofit, bipartisan organization composed of chiefs of police, sheriffs, and prosecutors, has promoted evidence-based policies and programs for 25 years that protect public safety by steering children in Wisconsin and across the country towards successful lives and away from crime; and

AJR62,1,11 Whereas, the law enforcement leaders who compose Fight Crime: Invest in Kids volunteer their time and voices to ensure Wisconsin children and their families have access to high-quality programs including voluntary home visiting, early childhood care and education, after school programs, and anti-recidivism programs; and

AJR62,1,15 Whereas, Fight Crime: Invest in Kids will celebrate their 25th anniversary as an organization dedicated to increasing public safety by preventing crime and ensuring all children have the opportunity to achieve their potential; now, therefore, be it

AJR62,2,4 Resolved by the assembly, the senate concurring, That the Wisconsin State Legislature recognizes the contributions that Wisconsin's law enforcement leaders, as members of Fight Crime: Invest in Kids, have made to the health, safety, education, and well-being of Wisconsin's children; and

AJR62,2,8 Be it further resolved, That the Wisconsin State Legislature hereby expresses its gratitude to Fight Crime: Invest in Kids for their invaluable contribution to the promotion of the well-being of all of Wisconsin's children and offers its congratulations on their 25th anniversary.
