1An Act relating to: location of deaths from COVID-19.

This bill requires the Department of Health Services to collect and report to the
legislature the living situation location of all deaths from COVID-19 by June 30,
2022.
The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do
enact as follows:

(a) In this subsection, “COVID-19” means the infection caused by the
5SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus, including any viral variant derived from SARS-CoV-2
6coronavirus.

(b) By June 30, 2022, the department of health services shall collect the living
8situation location of all deaths from COVID-19 and shall report to the legislature
1under s. 13.172 (2) the living situation location of all deaths from COVID-19 in a
2manner that ensures the anonymity of deceased individuals.
