SENATE AMENDMENT 1, TO SENATE BILL 839

SB839-SA1,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:

SB839-SA1,1,2 1. Page 2, line 1: delete lines 1 to 13 and substitute:

SB839-SA1,1,4 “ Section 1m. 31.385 (2) (ad) (intro.) of the statutes, as created by 2021 Wisconsin Act 58, is amended to read:

SB839-SA1,1,7 31.385 (2) (ad) (intro.) Notwithstanding par. (a), beginning with financial assistance provided in the 2021-22 fiscal year, financial assistance for a dam safety project cannot exceed $1,000,000 and shall be awarded in the following amounts:

SB839-SA1,2m Section 2m. 31.385 (2) (ad) 2m. of the statutes is created to read:

SB839-SA1,1,10 31.385 (2) (ad) 2m. A project to remove a dam shall not be subject to the cost limits under subd. 1.

SB839-SA1,3m Section 3m. 31.385 (2) (ad) 3. of the statutes is created to read:

SB839-SA1,2,2 31.385 (2) (ad) 3. Financial assistance is limited to no more than $1,000,000 for each dam safety project.”.
