SB589-SA1,1,11 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:
SB589-SA1,1,3 21. Page 1, line 2: before “the Foundations" insert “requirements for initial
3teacher licensure and".
SB589-SA1,1,5 42. Page 1, line 3: delete the material beginning with that line and ending with
5line 7 and substitute:
SB589-SA1,1,7 6 Section 1e. 118.19 (14) (a) of the statutes is renumbered 118.19 (14) (a)
7(intro.) and amended to read:
SB589-SA1,1,128 118.19 (14) (a) (intro.) Except as provided in par. (b), the The department may
9not issue an initial teaching license that authorizes the holder to teach in grades
10kindergarten to 5 or in special education, an initial license as a reading teacher, or
