SENATE AMENDMENT 1, TO SENATE BILL 51

SB51-SA1,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:

SB51-SA1,1,2 1. Page 3, line 3: delete “paid" and substitute “ print".

SB51-SA1,1,6 2. Page 3, line 4: delete the material beginning with “at each publication" and ending with “in 3rd and 4th class cities, villages, or towns" on line 5 and substitute “at for each publication of not less than 1,000 copies in for 1st and 2nd class cities or 300 copies in for 3rd and 4th class cities, villages, or towns”.

SB51-SA1,1,8 3. Page 3, line 10: after “at least once a week," insert “with a minimum of 50 issues each year".

SB51-SA1,1,13 4. Page 4, line 9: after “where published" insert “, or the newspaper can verify to the department of administration using postal records that the newspaper has been circulated to the minimum number of print, digital, or electronic subscribers required under s. 985.01 (1b) prior to the issuance of its mailing permit from its place of publication, as set forth in s. 985.01 (5)".
