SB178-SA1,1,3 3“ Section 4m. 5.06 (5m) of the statutes is created to read:

SB178-SA1,1,84 5.06 (5m) During an investigation under this section, the commission may
5issue a preliminary order of limited duration to an election official to require that the
6election official conform his or her conduct to the law, restrain from taking any action
7inconsistent with the law, or correct any action or decision inconsistent with the
8law.”.
