SENATE AMENDMENT 2, TO SENATE BILL 115

SB115-SA2,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:

SB115-SA2,1,2 1. Page 2, line 5: delete lines 5 to 12 and substitute:

SB115-SA2,1,10 “(1) In this section, “program sponsor" means the Wisconsin Chiropractic Association, the Chiropractic Society of Wisconsin, the International Chiropractors Association, and a college of chiropractic approved by the examining board, and a college of medicine or osteopathy accredited by an accrediting body listed as nationally recognized by the secretary of the federal department of education. “Program sponsor" does not include an individual, organization, or institution of higher education approved under s. 46.03 (38) to provide instruction in the use of an automated external defibrillator.

SB115-SA2,2 Section 2. 446.028 (3) of the statutes is created to read:

SB115-SA2,2,3 446.028 (3) A college of chiropractic may not provide an on-site continuing education program unless the continuing education program is provided on property owned by the college or on property rented or leased by the college for providing the continuing education program for not more than 96 hours. This subsection does not apply to continuing education programs provided online.”.
