1 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:

21. Page 1, line 2: after “language arts" insert “and making an appropriation".

32. Page 2, line 1: before that line insert:

4“ Section 1e. 20.005 (3) (schedule) of the statutes: at the appropriate place,
5insert the following amounts for the purposes indicated: - See PDF for table

6Section 1m. 20.255 (2) (at) of the statutes is created to read:

120.255 (2) (at) Literacy acceleration grants. As a continuing appropriation, the
2amounts in the schedule for grants under 2021 Wisconsin Act .... (this act), section
3(1) (b).

4Section 1s. 20.255 (2) (at) of the statutes, as created by 2021 Wisconsin Act
5.... (this act), is repealed.”.

63. Page 2, line 15: delete the material beginning with “Of the moneys" and
7ending with “under this paragraph" on line 19 and substitute “From the
8appropriation under s. 20.255 (2) (at)”.

94. Page 4, line 15: after that line insert:

10“ Section 2. Effective dates. This act takes effect on the day after publication,
11except as follows:

12(1) The repeal of s. 20.255 (2) (at) takes effect on July 1, 2024.”.
