AB1-ASA1-AA3,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the substitute amendment as follows:

AB1-ASA1-AA3,1,3 1. Page 3, line 11: delete the material beginning with that line and ending with page 4, line 5, and substitute:

AB1-ASA1-AA3,1,5 “ Section 2g. 108.04 (3) (b) of the statutes is renumbered 108.04 (3) (b) 1. a. and amended to read:

AB1-ASA1-AA3,1,7 108.04 (3) (b) 1. a. Paragraph (a) does not apply with respect to benefit years that begin after March 12, 2020, and before February 7 March 14, 2021.

AB1-ASA1-AA3,1,11 2. The department shall seek the maximum amount of federal reimbursement for benefits that are, during the any time period specified in this paragraph subd. 1., payable for the first week of a claimant's benefit year as a result of the application of this paragraph subd. 1.

AB1-ASA1-AA3,2r Section 2r. 108.04 (3) (b) 1. b. of the statutes is created to read:

AB1-ASA1-AA3,2,4 108.04 (3) (b) 1. b. In addition to the period specified in subd. 1. a., the secretary may suspend the application of par. (a) for any period during which federal reimbursement is available to pay benefits for the first week of a claimant's benefit year.”.
