AB505-AA1,1,2 1. Page 2, line 1: before that line insert:

AB505-AA1,1,3 “ Section 1e. 23.24 (1) (bm) of the statutes is created to read:

AB505-AA1,1,4 23.24 (1) (bm) “Bank” has the meaning given in s. 30.19 (1b) (b) 1. b.”.

AB505-AA1,1,6 2. Page 2, line 5: after “controlled." insert ““Private pond” does not include a wetland.".

AB505-AA1,1,7 3. Page 2, line 5: after that line insert:

AB505-AA1,1,8 “ Section 1r. 23.24 (1) (L) of the statutes is created to read:

AB505-AA1,1,11 23.24 (1) (L) “Wetland” means an area that has predominantly hydric soil and emergent plant growth, that lacks a defined bank, and that may exhibit shallow surface water.”.

AB505-AA1,1,12 4. Page 4, line 4: after that line insert:

AB505-AA1,2,3 “d. If the private pond abuts multiple parcels, the owners of all parcels that abut the private pond have been notified of the application of the chemical treatment to the private pond.

AB505-AA1,2,6 e. The person retains for a period of not less than 2 years a record of any pesticide the person applies to the private pond. All records retained under this subd. 5. e. shall be made available to the department for inspection upon request.”.
