ASSEMBLY SUBSTITUTE AMENDMENT 1, TO ASSEMBLY BILL 42

AB42-ASA1,1,2 An Act to create 943.10 (2m) of the statutes; relating to: entering certain places with intent to commit battery and providing a penalty.

The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do enact as follows:

AB42-ASA1,1 Section 1. 943.10 (2m) of the statutes is created to read:

AB42-ASA1,1,6 943.10 (2m) Whoever intentionally enters any of the following places without the consent of the person in lawful possession and with intent to commit a violation of s. 940.19 (1) or 940.195 (1) in such place is guilty of a Class I felony:

AB42-ASA1,1,7 (a) Any building or dwelling; or

AB42-ASA1,1,8 (b) An enclosed railroad car; or

AB42-ASA1,1,9 (c) An enclosed portion of any ship or vessel; or

AB42-ASA1,1,10 (d) A locked enclosed cargo portion of a truck or trailer; or

AB42-ASA1,1,12 (e) A motor home or other motorized type of home or a trailer home, whether or not any person is living in any such home; or

AB42-ASA1,2,1 (f) A room within any of the above.
