ASSEMBLY AMENDMENT 1, TO ASSEMBLY BILL 237

AB237-AA1,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:

AB237-AA1,1,3 1. Page 1, line 1: delete “fund” and substitute “fund and the unemployment insurance waiting period".

AB237-AA1,1,4 2. Page 2, line 1: before that line insert:

AB237-AA1,1,6 “ Section 1n. 108.04 (3) (b) of the statutes, as affected by 2021 Wisconsin Act 4, is amended to read:

AB237-AA1,1,11 108.04 (3) (b) Paragraph (a) does not apply with respect to benefit years that begin after March 12, 2020, and before March 14 September 5, 2021. The department shall seek the maximum amount of federal reimbursement for benefits that are, during the time period specified in this paragraph, payable for the first week of a claimant's benefit year as a result of the application of this paragraph.”.
