AJR25,1,43 Whereas, the UW-Madison women's hockey team defeated the University of
4Minnesota 2-0 in the NCAA Division I National Championship game; and
AJR25,1,75 Whereas, by winning the 2019 NCAA Division I Hockey National
6Championship, the UW-Madison women's hockey team won their fifth overall title
7in twenty seasons; and
AJR25,1,108 Whereas, the UW-Madison women's hockey team demonstrated exceptional
9athletic performances and displayed a remarkable degree of sportsmanship
10throughout the 2019 season; and
AJR25,1,1311 Whereas, Sophia Shaver, assisted by Presley Norby and Nicole LaMantia, gave
12UW-Madison a 1-0 lead, followed by Annie Pankowski's goal, assisted by Abby
13Roque, for a team-leading 28 goals; and

15been ranked number 1 and finishing with a record of 35-4-2 for the season; and
1Whereas, Kristen Campbell, who was named Most Outstanding Player of the
2Frozen Four, pitched her eleventh shutout of the season and allowed zero goals in
3three NCAA tournament games; and

21team, the coaching staff, the athletic department, and the chancellor on winning the
222019 NCAA Division I Women's Hockey National Championship title and wish the
