hist101885Senate Bill 162 introduced by Senators Wanggaard and Miller and Representatives Pope and Brandtjen, waives the motor vehicle title transfer fee to remove the name of a deceased spouse. The fiscal estimate for Senate Bill 162 is in excess of $100,000. I find this bill to conform with Wis. Stat. § 16.47 (2) and recommend that its passage be permitted prior to the passage of the biennial budget bill.. Sincerely,
