Representative Hintz introduced Hometown Hero Award recipients, 17-year old Duaa Ahmad, and Oshkosh West teacher Ken Levine, for their quick action during an altercation at their school on December 3, 2019. Miss Ahmad ushered her classmates to safety across the street to her Mosque, while Mr. Levine rendered aid to school safety officer Mike Wissink, who was stabbed by a student during the altercation. Miss Ahmad and Mr. Levine addressed the members from the rostrum.
