Representative Hebl asked unanimous consent that the Assembly adjourn in honor of Kalvin Barrett, who retired from the Sun Prairie Police Department. Kalvin is now an instructor at MATC and oversees Stop the Bleed events, a national awareness campaign which increases survivability from active shooter and intentional mass casualty occurrences, teaching bystanders to become immediate responders at the scene of injuries before first responders arrive. Granted.
Representative Hebl asked unanimous consent that the Assembly adjourn in honor of Senator Mark Miller who is retiring after 22 years in the state legislature. He was elected to the Assembly in 1998 where he served as State Representative until 2004 when he ran and won a seat in the State Senate. Granted.
