Representative Nygren introduced Hometown Hero Award recipient Gail Bantes of Marinette, recognized for her heroic action in pushing two school children out of the way of an oncoming car in a crosswalk, causing the car to hit her instead. Ms. Bantes addressed the members from the rostrum.
