In accordance with Joint Rule 81 (2) and Assembly Rule 93, it is moved that the Committee on Assembly Organization authorize the Legislature to meet in Extraordinary Session beginning at 10:00 A.M. on Thursday, February 28, 2019, solely for the purpose of the Governor’s Budget Address.
Ayes: 8 − Representatives Vos, Steineke, Felzkowski, August, Knodl, Hintz, Hesselbein and Spreitzer.

Joint Convention
  The houses went into joint convention.
  Senate President Roth presiding.
  Senator Roth recognized the presence of Wisconsin Supreme Court Chief Justice Patience D. Roggensack, Lieutenant Governor Mandela Barnes, Attorney General Josh Kaul, Superintendent of Public Instruction Carolyn Stanford Taylor and State Treasurer Sarah Godlewski.
  Assembly Sergeant-at-Arms Anne Tonnon Byers announced the arrival of the members of the Wisconsin State Senate.
  Assembly Sergeant-at-Arms Anne Tonnon Byers announced the arrival of Governor Tony Evers.
  Escorted by Senators Hansen and Tiffany, and Representatives Emerson and Oldenburg, Governor Tony Evers took his place at the rostrum to deliver his budget address.
  Pursuant to Joint Rule 73, the governor’s message is printed in the Senate journal only.
  Representative Steineke moved that the joint convention arise.
