AB696-AA2,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:

AB696-AA2,1,2 1. Page 1, line 11: delete “requirements for registering motor vehicles,".

AB696-AA2,1,3 2. Page 5, line 1: delete lines 1 to 6.

AB696-AA2,1,5 3. Page 5, line 25: after “violation." insert “A law enforcement agency may contract with a 3rd party for towing or vehicle storage services.".

AB696-AA2,1,6 4. Page 6, line 1: delete that line.

AB696-AA2,1,9 5. Page 6, line 4: delete lines 4 to 6 and substitute “2. If the total number of previous convictions for violations of this section and s. 343.44 of the person violating this section is not more than one, the citing or arresting law enforcement officer”.

AB696-AA2,1,12 6. Page 6, line 11: after “based" insert “or if the citation upon which an impoundment is based is dismissed or no citation is issued because the operator is determined to have been licensed at the time of citation or arrest".

AB696-AA2,2,2 7. Page 7, line 14: after “vehicle." insert “A law enforcement agency may assign its authority under this subdivision.".

AB696-AA2,2,3 8. Page 16, line 16: delete lines 16 and 17.
