2019 WISCONSIN ACT 112
An Act to create 940.43 (8) and 940.45 (7) of the statutes; relating to: intimidating a victim of domestic abuse and providing a penalty.
The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do enact as follows:
112,1n Section 1n. 940.43 (8) of the statutes is created to read:
940.43 (8) If the proceeding is a criminal trial, where the crime is an act of domestic abuse, as defined in s. 968.075 (1) (a), that constitutes the commission of a crime or a crime that, following a conviction, is subject to the surcharge in s. 973.055.
112,1p Section 1p. 940.45 (7) of the statutes is created to read:
940.45 (7) Where the underlying crime is an act of domestic abuse, as defined in s. 968.075 (1) (a), that constitutes the commission of a crime or a crime that, following a conviction, is subject to the surcharge in s. 973.055.
