SB462-SA1,1,11 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:
SB462-SA1,1,5 21. Page 5, line 14: delete “under this section" and substitute “from the
3department. The department may make announced and unannounced inspections
4and complaint investigations of crisis urgent care and observation facilities as it
5deems necessary, at reasonable times and in a reasonable manner.".
SB462-SA1,1,6 62. Page 6, line 18: delete lines 18 to 21 and substitute:
SB462-SA1,1,8 7“1. Accept referrals for crisis services for adults and, if applicable, for youth,
8including any of the following:
SB462-SA1,1,99 a. Involuntary patients brought under s. 51.15.
SB462-SA1,1,1210 b. Voluntary patients for services arriving as walk-ins or brought by law
11enforcement, emergency medical responders or emergency medical services
12practitioners, or county crisis personnel.”.

21date of this paragraph .... [LRB inserts date], would otherwise require certification
22as a crisis urgent care and observation facility may on and after the effective date of
23this paragraph .... [LRB inserts date], continue to provide these services without
24obtaining certification from the department under this subsection.”.
