PI 34.040(2)(b)(b) Expired or invalid license. The applicant holds an expired initial educator, professional educator, or master educator license or an invalid tier III, or tier IV license. PI 34.040(2)(c)(c) License based on equivalency. The applicant submits a certification from an institution which certifies that the applicant completed the equivalent of the institution’s approved program. PI 34.040(2)(d)(d) License based on experience. The applicant meets all of the following requirements: PI 34.040(2)(d)3.3. Has at least 3 years of successful teaching experience in the subject area of the license. PI 34.040(2)(f)(f) Online-only preparation with no student teaching experience. The applicant meets the requirements under s. 118.197, Stats. PI 34.040(2)(g)(g) Out-of-state program. The applicant meets all of the following requirements: PI 34.040(2)(g)1.1. Completed an out-of-state educator preparation program that meets all of the following requirements: PI 34.040(2)(g)1.a.a. Is approved by the state education agency of the state in which it is located. PI 34.040(2)(g)1.b.b. Is comparable to an approved program, including student teaching experience. PI 34.040(2)(g)2.2. Received an institutional endorsement from the preparation program. PI 34.040(2)(h)(h) Standards-based training or assessment. The applicant successfully completed a standards-based training or assessment program approved by the state superintendent and passed the assessments approved under s. PI 34.021. PI 34.040(2)(i)(i) National board certification. The applicant is certified by the national board for professional teaching standards. PI 34.040(2)(j)(j) Clinically-trained speech-language pathologist. The applicant meets all of the following: PI 34.040(2)(j)2.2. Holds or has held a valid speech-language pathologist license issued by the hearing and speech examining board under s. 459.24, Stats. PI 34.040(2)(j)3.3. Has fulfilled the duties as a speech-language pathologist for at least one year in a Wisconsin school while holding a license issued under s. PI 34.028 (2) (d).
