The houses went into joint convention.

  Senator Roth recognized the presence of Lieutenant Governor Mandela Barnes, Attorney General Josh Kaul, Superintendent of Public Instruction Carolyn Stanford Taylor and State Treasurer Sarah Godlewski; Chief Justice Patience Roggensack, Justice Rebecca Grassl Bradley, Justice Daniel Kelly, Justice Rebecca Frank Dallet and Justice Brian Hagedorn of the Wisconsin Supreme Court; and Wisconsin Tribal Leaders Chairman Doug Cox of the Menomonee Tribe of Wisconsin, Treasurer Trish King of the Oneida Nation of Wisconsin; President Shannon Holsey of the Stockbridge-Munsee Community, Vice Chairwoman Lorraine Gouge of the Lac Courte Oreilles Tribe of Lake Superior Chippewa Indians, President Marlon WhiteEagle of the Ho Chunk Nation, Chairman Rick Peterson of the Red Cliff Band of Lake Superior Chippewa Indians, President Joseph Wildcat, Sr. of the Lac du Flambeau Band of Lake Superior Band of Chippewa Indians and Chairman Ned Daniels of the Forest County Potawatomi.
  Assembly Sergeant-at-Arms Anne Tonnon Byers announced the arrival of Governor Tony Evers.
  Escorted by Senators Kooyenga and Miller, and Representatives Kulp and Subeck, Governor Tony Evers took his place at the rostrum to deliver his state of the state address.
  Pursuant to Joint Rule 73, the governor’s message is printed in the Senate journal only.
  Representative Steineke moved that the joint convention arise.
