AB382,,3573572. The executive committee shall be composed of up to eleven (11) members:
AB382,,358358a. The chair and vice chair of the commission shall be voting members of the executive committee; and
AB382,,359359b. The commission shall elect five voting members from the current membership of the commission.
AB382,,360360c. Up to four (4) ex officio, nonvoting members from four (4) recognized national social work organizations.
AB382,,361361d. The ex officio members will be selected by their respective organizations.
AB382,,3623623. The commission may remove any member of the executive committee as provided in the commission’s bylaws.
AB382,,3633634. The executive committee shall meet at least annually.
AB382,,364364a. Executive committee meetings shall be open to the public, except that the executive committee may meet in a closed, nonpublic meeting as provided in par. (f) 2. below.
AB382,,365365b. The executive committee shall give seven (7) days’ notice of its meetings, posted on its website and as determined to provide notice to persons with an interest in the business of the commission.
AB382,,366366c. The executive committee may hold a special meeting in accordance with par. (f) 1. b. below.
AB382,,367367(e) The commission shall adopt and provide to the member states an annual report.
AB382,,368368(f) Meetings of the commission. 1. All meetings shall be open to the public, except that the commission may meet in a closed, nonpublic meeting as provided in par. (f) 2. below.
AB382,,369369a. Public notice for all meetings of the full commission of meetings shall be given in the same manner as required under the rule-making provisions in sub. (12), except that the commission may hold a special meeting as provided in par. (f) 1. b. below.
AB382,,370370b. The commission may hold a special meeting when it must meet to conduct emergency business by giving 48 hours’ notice to all commissioners, on the commission’s website, and other means as provided in the commission’s rules. The commission’s legal counsel shall certify that the commission’s need to meet qualifies as an emergency.
AB382,,3713712. The commission or the executive committee or other committees of the commission may convene in a closed, nonpublic meeting for the commission or executive committee or other committees of the commission to receive legal advice or to discuss:
AB382,,372372a. Noncompliance of a member state with its obligations under the compact;
AB382,,373373b. The employment, compensation, discipline or other matters, practices or procedures related to specific employees;
AB382,,374374c. Current or threatened discipline of a licensee by the commission or by a member state’s licensing authority;
AB382,,375375d. Current, threatened, or reasonably anticipated litigation;
AB382,,376376e. Negotiation of contracts for the purchase, lease, or sale of goods, services, or real estate;
AB382,,377377f. Accusing any person of a crime or formally censuring any person;
AB382,,378378g. Trade secrets or commercial or financial information that is privileged or confidential;
AB382,,379379h. Information of a personal nature where disclosure would constitute a clearly unwarranted invasion of personal privacy;
AB382,,380380i. Investigative records compiled for law enforcement purposes;
AB382,,381381j. Information related to any investigative reports prepared by or on behalf of or for use of the commission or other committee charged with responsibility of investigation or determination of compliance issues pursuant to the compact;
AB382,,382382k. Matters specifically exempted from disclosure by federal or member state law; or
AB382,,383383L. Other matters as promulgated by the Commission by Rule.
AB382,,3843843. If a meeting, or portion of a meeting, is closed, the presiding officer shall state that the meeting will be closed and reference each relevant exempting provision, and such reference shall be recorded in the minutes.
