ATCP 30.31(3)(b)(b) No person may apply irrigation water to any site to which atrazine product has been applied for a 2-year period following the application of atrazine product, unless the application of irrigation water is conducted in accordance with an irrigation management program that does not cause the field moisture capacity in the root zone of the soil being irrigated to be exceeded.
ATCP 30.31(4)(4)Use and mixing-loading by certified applicators and mixer-loaders only.
ATCP 30.31(4)(a)(a) Atrazine product may only be applied by a certified private applicator or by a person who is certified as a commercial applicator in the appropriate pesticide use category under s. ATCP 29.31.
ATCP 30.31(4)(b)(b) Atrazine product may only be mixed or loaded by a certified private applicator or by a person who is certified as a commercial applicator or mixer-loader in the appropriate pesticide use category under s. ATCP 29.31.
ATCP 30.31 NoteNote: Sections ATCP 29.45 and 29.46 prohibit mixing or loading of atrazine or other pesticides within 100 feet of any well or surface water unless the mixing or loading occurs over a spill containment pad that is constructed in compliance with the rule’s specifications. Sections ATCP 29.47 and 29.50 prohibit the disposal of atrazine or other pesticides, pesticide containers including empty containers, pesticide spray solutions, and pesticide rinsates in a manner inconsistent with label directions.
ATCP 30.31(5)(5)Recordkeeping.
ATCP 30.31(5)(a)(a) Every person who applies atrazine product shall keep a record of every application of atrazine product. The record shall be completed on the day of application and include the following:
ATCP 30.31(5)(a)1.1. The name of the individual who applied the atrazine product.
ATCP 30.31(5)(a)2.2. The name and address of the person for whom the atrazine product was applied, if different from the person who applied the atrazine product.
ATCP 30.31(5)(a)3.3. The location of the site where the atrazine product was applied.
ATCP 30.31(5)(a)4.4. The date and time of the application.
ATCP 30.31(5)(a)5.5. The brand name of the atrazine product.
ATCP 30.31(5)(a)6.6. The name of the labeler of the atrazine product, or the federal environmental protection agency registration number (EPA Reg. No.) for the atrazine product.
ATCP 30.31(5)(a)7.7. The rate of application and size of the total area treated.
ATCP 30.31(5)(a)8.8. The location of the site, if other than the site of application, where the atrazine product was loaded into the application equipment or nurse tank.
ATCP 30.31(5)(a)9.9. A map of the field as required under s. ATCP 30.32 if the field is subdivided into smaller application sites and different amounts of atrazine product are applied to the different sites.
ATCP 30.31(5)(b)(b) Every record of an atrazine product application under par. (a) shall be retained for 3 years after the application date. The record shall, at the request of the department, be made available for inspection and copying by the department.

ATCP 30.32ATCP 30.32Maximum application rates. Except where further restricted under ss. ATCP 30.34 to 30.38, the amount of atrazine active ingredient applied to any application site during any calendar year may not exceed the maximum amount specified for that site under this section.
ATCP 30.32(1)(1) Except as provided under sub. (3) or (4), if at least one-fourth of the surface soil at the application site is a coarse soil, the maximum amount is 0.75 lb. per acre per calendar year.
ATCP 30.32(2)(2) Except as provided under sub. (3) or (4), if less than one-fourth of the surface soil at the application site is a coarse soil, the maximum amount is 1.0 lb. per acre per calendar year.

ATCP 30.32(3)(3) If a rescue treatment is needed for a field of seed corn or sweet corn, the total amount of atrazine applied to that field in that calendar year may not exceed the following applicable amounts:
ATCP 30.32(3)(a)(a) 1.5 lbs. per acre per calendar year if at least one-fourth of the surface soil is a coarse soil.
ATCP 30.32(3)(b)(b) 2.0 lbs. per acre per calendar year if less than one-fourth of the surface soil is a coarse soil.
