This chapter establishes the process by which the commission reviews requests for parole or release to extended supervision under chs. 302 and 304, Stats. In this chapter: PAC 1.03(1)(1) “Chairperson” means the chairperson of the commission. “Chairperson” includes a commissioner who is designated by the chairperson to perform a specific assignment or duty. PAC 1.03(2)(2) “Commission” means the parole commission, including the chairperson and commissioners. PAC 1.03(3)(3) “Commissioner” means a member of the parole commission, including the chairperson. PAC 1.03(4)(4) “Deferral” means an action by a commissioner, which follows release consideration and which denies release for a specified period of time.
