AB843-AA1,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:

AB843-AA1,1,2 1. Page 4, line 7: after “receives" insert “or has received".

AB843-AA1,1,5 2. Page 4, line 11: after “services" insert “or the first day of the 7th month beginning after the effective date of this subsection .... [LRB inserts date], whichever is later”.

AB843-AA1,1,7 3. Page 4, line 25: delete the material beginning with “or any other" and ending with “toxic compound" on page 5, line 1.

AB843-AA1,1,8 4. Page 5, line 5: delete “or any other toxic compound".

AB843-AA1,1,10 5. Page 5, line 21: delete “standards for any known" and substitute “standards, for".

AB843-AA1,2,2 6. Page 5, line 22: after “substances" insert “for which the department has received a recommended groundwater enforcement standard from the department of health services or that has been identified by the federal Environmental Protection Agency as having an inhalation effect,".

AB843-AA1,2,3 7. Page 6, line 15: after that line insert:

AB843-AA1,2,6 “(a) “Municipality” means a city, town, village, county, county utility district, town sanitary district, public inland lake protection and rehabilitation district, sewerage district, or metropolitan sewage district.”.
