SB70-AA10,1,2 At the locations indicated, amend the bill, as shown by senate substitute amendment 2, as follows:

SB70-AA10,1,4 1. Page 18, line 19: delete the material beginning with that line and ending with page 19, line 2, and substitute:

SB70-AA10,1,5 “ Section 1. 16.5185 (3) of the statutes is created to read:

SB70-AA10,1,9 16.5185 (3) (a) Subject to par. (b), beginning on June 30, 2024, in each fiscal year, the secretary shall transfer from the general fund to the transportation fund an amount equal to the amount calculated by the department approximating the amount of sales tax generated by the sale of electric vehicles in this state.

SB70-AA10,1,12 (b) Beginning in fiscal year 2025-26, the transfer under par. (a) may not exceed 120 percent of the amount transferred in the previous year, or $75,000,000, whichever is less.
