13staff and to improve accounting and financial functions, including the addition of

120.380 (1) (b) Tourism marketing; general purpose revenue. Biennially, the
2amounts in the schedule for tourism marketing service expenses and the execution
3of the functions under ss. 41.11 (4) and 41.17. In each fiscal year, the department
4shall expend for tourism marketing service expenses and the execution of the
5functions under ss. 41.11 (4) and 41.17 an amount that bears the same proportion to
6the amount in the schedule for the fiscal year as the amount expended under par. (kg)
7in that fiscal year bears to the amount in the schedule for par. (kg) for that fiscal year.
8Of the amounts under this paragraph, not more than 50 percent shall be used to
9match funds allocated under s. 41.17 by private or public organizations for the joint
10effort marketing of tourism with the state.

SB70-AA1,202,1713 41.17 (5) Funding source. Subject to the 50 percent limitation under s. 20.380
14(1) (b) and the proportional expenditure requirements under s. 20.380 (1) (b) and
15(kg), the department shall expend, from the appropriations under s. 20.380 (1) (b),
16(kg), and (w), at least $1,130,000 in the aggregate in each fiscal year in joint effort
17marketing funds under this section.”.

SB70-AA1,203,1912 (1k) Transfer of American Indian tourism marketing contract. The contract
13between the department of tourism and the Great Lakes inter-tribal council in effect
14on the effective date of this subsection that is primarily related to the promotion of
15tourism featuring American Indian heritage and culture, as determined by the
16secretary of administration, is transferred to the department of administration. The
17department of administration shall carry out any obligations under such a contract
18until the contract is modified or rescinded by the department of administration to the
19extent allowed under the contract.”.

SB70-AA1,204,95 41.11 (1) (gm) From the appropriation under s. 20.380 (1) (c), expend moneys
6to attract major opportunities and events to this state, including expenditures for
7major marketing and professional efforts. The department shall collaborate with the
8Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation to implement the department's
9duties under this paragraph.”.
