MPSW 11.04(4)(4)The applicant does not have a pending charge for an exempt offense, as defined in s. 111.335 (1m) (b), Stats., or a violent crime against a child, as defined in s. 111.335 (1m) (d), Stats., that is substantially related to the practice of a professional counselor.

MPSW 11.045MPSW 11.045Reciprocal credentials for service members, former service members, and their spouses. The professional counselor section shall grant a reciprocal license to practice professional counseling to a service member, former service member, or the spouse of a service member or former service member who the board determines meets all of the requirements under s. 440.09, Stats. Subject to s. 440.09 (2m), Stats., the board may request verification necessary to make a determination under this section.
