AB56-ASA1-AA3,35,16 115.42 (2) (c) 2. The amount of a grant under par. (a) is $15,000 in any school year in which the recipient is employed in a school that satisfies all of the following:

AB56-ASA1-AA3,35,18 a. At least 60 percent of the pupils enrolled at the school satisfy the income eligibility criteria for a free or reduced-price lunch under 42 USC 1758 (b) (1).

AB56-ASA1-AA3,35,19 b. The school is located in an urban school district.

AB56-ASA1-AA3,1450 Section 1450. 115.42 (2) (d) of the statutes is amended to read:

AB56-ASA1-AA3,36,2 115.42 (2) (d) In any of the 9 school years following the receipt of a grant under sub. (1) (1m) in which the grant recipient is evaluated under s. 115.415, if the grant recipient is placed in a performance category other than the “effective" or “highly effective" performance category in the applicable educator effectiveness system, as determined by the department, he or she is not eligible for a grant under this subsection in that school year.

AB56-ASA1-AA3,1451 Section 1451. 115.436 (2) (intro.) of the statutes is amended to read:

AB56-ASA1-AA3,36,7 115.436 (2) (intro.) A school district is eligible for sparsity aid under this section if it the school district's membership in the previous school year divided by the school district's area in square miles is less than 10 and the school district satisfies all one of the following criteria:

(b), the department shall pay to each school district eligible for sparsity aid $400 multiplied by the membership in the previous school year.
