AJR46,1,53Whereas, the Wauwatosa East Red Raiders Girls Basketball Team won the 4program's first state title in 44 years with a 59-58 victory over top-seeded Edgewood 5High School; and AJR46,1,76Whereas, the victory occurred in the first triple-overtime game in WIAA girls 7basketball history; and AJR46,1,98Whereas, the Wauwatosa East Girls Basketball Team displayed selfless 9teamwork in achieving their goal of a state championship; and AJR46,1,1310Whereas, the Wauwatosa East Girls Basketball program’s work ethic, 11toughness, and perseverance culminated in a winning season and program 12turnaround that just five years prior had a winless season in Greater Metro 13Conference play; and AJR46,2,2
