SB850,,33Analysis by the Legislative Reference Bureau This bill allows a city, village, town, or county to regulate transportation network companies (TNCs), their drivers, and the drivers’ vehicles. Current law prohibits cities, villages, towns, or counties from enacting or enforcing such regulations, and under current law the Department of Safety and Professional Services has exclusive authority to regulate TNCs, their drivers, and the drivers’ vehicles.
