SB449,,33Analysis by the Legislative Reference Bureau This bill requires the Board of Regents of the University of Wisconsin System to provide funding to the Wisconsin Institute for Sustainable Technology at UW-Stevens Point to broaden the institute’s support for, and further technical contributions to, the state’s forest and paper industries and for the institute’s ongoing operations. The bill creates an appropriation from the general fund for this purpose.
