This bill creates a grant program under which the Department of Children and
Families may award grants to licensed child care centers and certified child care
providers to pay for additional staffing to assist in the care of children with
disabilities when other funding is unavailable or insufficient for this purpose. The
bill authorizes DCF to determine grant eligibility and award amounts, and allows
DCF to promulgate rules to administer the grant program.
