2Education Month in Wisconsin.
AR10,1,53 Whereas, employers throughout Wisconsin need to have access to a qualified
4workforce that is connected with industry-recognized credentials to continue their
5growth in Wisconsin; and
AR10,1,86 Whereas, career and technical education is a path for students to gain the
7academic, technical, and employment skills necessary to be workforce ready when
8they complete their education; and
AR10,1,129 Whereas, career and technical education is supported by our local schools and
10technical colleges, which work to provide students an opportunity to explore various
11occupations earlier in their educational experience that helps them make informed
12decisions about their career; and
AR10,1,1513 Whereas, Wisconsin understands that fostering a strong link between
14employers, schools, and technical colleges is necessary to ensuring our workforce is
15ready for tomorrow's challenges; now, therefore, be it

1Resolved by the assembly, That the Wisconsin Assembly recognizes the
2month of February 2021 as Career and Technical Education Month in Wisconsin to
3promote the services and benefits offered by career and technical education
4programs throughout the state and encourage everyone to become familiar with
5these services.
