AJR58,1,32 Whereas, Bike to School Day allows kids, families, and community members
3the opportunity to physically participate in the joy of active commuting to school; and
AJR58,1,54 Whereas, Bike to School Day supports and sustains healthy communities with
5active students and families and safer streets; and
AJR58,1,86 Whereas, creating safe walk and bike plans with routes to school for active
7commuting through collaborative partnerships can lead to policy and environmental
8changes in communities; and
AJR58,1,109 Whereas, Bike to School Day supports the whole child approach to academic
10achievement through physical activity; and
AJR58,1,1511 Whereas, increasing equitable, safe, and accessible biking opportunities for
12all—but especially for children from low-income households, Black and Brown
