1An Act to create 20.455 (2) (cp) and 165.989 of the statutes;
relating to:
2community-oriented policing-house grant program and making an
3appropriation.

This bill establishes a $600,000 grant program, administered by the
Department of Justice, for cities with a population of 60,000 or more to fund
community-oriented policing-house programs.

The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do
enact as follows:

6the appropriation under s. 20.455 (2) (cp), the department of justice shall award
7grants to cities to fund community-oriented policing-house programs.

8(2) A city is eligible for a grant under sub. (1) if the city has a population of
960,000 or more.
